2022-2024: Trewsbury Road Allotments
I returned to a previous allotment I had left many years earlier and strangely I was offered half of my original plot.
Carrots
Sow seeds thinly so you don’t have to thin out later in the season because when you do the scent from the carrot seedlings attract ‘carrot fly’. These burrow into the side of the carrot and destroy it. Adding a protection sheet of fleece over the crop which help reduce the problem.
