Gaiety Cinema

Situated at the corner of Bute Street and Crichton Street.

It was open by October 1914. In 1931 it was owned by Treherbert Cinema Syndicate. The stage was 15ft deep x 26ft wide but only had one dressing room. It had 559 seats but this was reduced to 500 by 1953. It remained open well into 1966.
