Royal Exchange Public House Sold

Great interest was felt at Treherbert and the adjacent district on Monday, at a property sale which took place there. The auctioneer was Mr E. H. Davies, and he offered for disposal the Royal Exchange Public House, Penyrenglyn, which reached £1,300, the buyer being Mr William Pearce, the landlord; two dwelling-houses and a shop, were purchased by Mr J. H. Evans for £350 and another dwelling-house sold for £100 to Mr William Russ, Ystrad. Mr Ll. Reynolds attended on behalf of Messrs Simons and Plews, the solicitors for the vendors, who had the conduct of the sale by order of the chancery division.
