The Blaencwm Shooting Case – 350 Shots

THE BLAENCWM SHOOTING CASE.
At Ystrad Police-court on Monday (before Mr. T. P. Jenkins, Dm. H. N. Davies and W. Parry, and Alderman W. Morgan) David Davies, collier, was again brought up on remand charged with shooting Eli Baker, of Stone Huts, Blaencwm, with intent to kill on the 20th of June.

Baker was now able to attend, but he appeared to be in a very weak state. The particulars of the affray have already been published in the Western Mail.

The prosecutor having confirmed the evidence given by him before the stipendiary at a time when his life was despaired of, and other testimony tendered, prisoner of, and other testimony tendered, prisoner was committed for trial. It was said that 350 shots had been extracted from the body of the injured man. Mr W C Matthews appeared for the defence.
