A gentle stroll around the grounds of the Horniman Museum in Forest Hill, South-East London, where we bump into Flymo the Goat, Rams, Sheep, Alpacas and take in the views across London to The City and Battersea Power Station. The Museum is currently closed due to lockdown.

Great video. Have been passed it when on South Circular. I thought it was partly a toy museum. Not keen on stuffed animals. When you come to my neck of the woods visit Birchington and visit Quex Museum and gardens and the grave of Dante Rosetti in the parish church churchyard. Quex museum has a large diarama of stuffed animals.

I think it’s mostly stuffed animals from what I remember. I think there is a toy museum up Shoreditch way. Will start visiting more when things get back to ‘normal’.
I grew up near Hornimans so very much a place I love. You really must visit the museum when open again it has so much more than stuffed animals including one of the world’s largest collections if musical instruments. Lots of cultural artefacts from around the world. They used to have an apiary that was possible to see the bees inside, lots of ancient artefacts too and lots of interactive exhibits. Often have special exhibitions too. Do try and visit. Thanks for the video of the gardens.
