During lockdown 2.0 I want to learn more about my local area of Sydenham SE26 in South-East London. In this video I go in search of 111 Sydenham Hill where speech therapist Lionel Logue lived. His story was portrayed in the movie The King’s Speech. Lionel helps King George VI overcome his stammer and often visited the Sydenham property. While searching I discover Sydenham Woods and find out about a local campaign to save two mighty oaks which are due to be cut down by mid-November 2020.
